I’ve been fortunate that the people I’ve met along my writing journey have been incredibly supportive, particularly those I have met through the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I was overjoyed to be included in this anthology, and the fact that I was able to share it with two of my closest writing buddies, Rebecca and Teena, was the icing on top.

But rejection letters make the following phrase all the sweeter.
“We are delighted to attach our offer of publication.”
That phrase was capped only by the excitement when the other contributors to the anthology were revealed.
Not only does this list feature several authors I admire, but it also includes some of my writing buddies. I couldn’t be more pleased to be part of such an amazing line-up.
