Biography

Sandi Parsons is at heart a book nerd, who morphs into a librarian Book Warrior by day, and sings along (rather badly) to Cyndi Lauper songs while posting pictures of her disgracefully behaved blue heeler, Pepsi Parsons on Instagram in her free time. She believes that the best way to deal with monsters is to turn them into fairies.

Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Sandi was 38 when she underwent a double lung transplant. She is a passionate advocate for both Cystic Fibrosis and Organ Donation.

Sandi lives in Western Australia with her husband and a ‘To Be Read’ pile of books so high that they frequently threaten to cause a book-a-launch.

Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Sandi was 38 when she underwent a double lung transplant. She is a passionate advocate for both Cystic Fibrosis and Organ Donation. Her first book, published in 2012, The Mystery of the Sixty-Five Roses (under the name Sandi Bowie) was created to help educate and raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. Jeremy’s character was loosely based on her son Jarryn, who also liked to sneak and spy and often ended up with only half the story.

Sandi lives in Western Australia with her husband and a ‘To Be Read’ pile of books so high that they frequently threaten to cause a book-a-launch.
